• The Caution Cell Phone Project is a street art project that uses stickers and custom signs to turn existing road signs into caution signs that draw people’s attention to the dangers of excessive cell phone use - especially on youth.

We believe that art is powerful and that it has the potential to help us overcome problems formerly thought insurmountable.

  • Excessive cell phone use is responsible for a massive increase in depression, anxiety and mental health complications across our society but especially for our youth. This project is a response to personal and professional experiences from the artist but is in alignment with research presented in Jonathan Haidt’s book, The Anxious Generation.

    3. Talk with your friends and family about cell phone use and look for ways to support each other in responding to the problem.

  • Great question. The Caution Cell Phones Project has not been able to find a definitive answer to this question. There seem to be different approaches to stickers on signs depending on the city or town. We do not advocate anyone breaking the law and assume anyone taking part in the project is responsible for their own decisions and actions.
